Export seamless point surface
Navigate to Bathymetry datasource and click on SeafloorDTM_demo to open the preview. The footprints of the surveys in the seamless point surface are plotted on the map. Click Export button to open the export dialog. First select the export format. Currently only Ascii is supported as file format for exporting point datasets. The metadata can be exported to a metadata XML file. After selecting "Ascii" as export format, click Continue and a next dialog appears to enter the export configuration. Enter the export configuration as follows:
The user is free to select the target coordinate system. Alle coordinate systems of the EPSG database are supported.
When checking Use Bounding Box a map appears with the seamless point surface. Click following button to drag the boundaries of the area to export on the map:
On the map, click the lower left corner of the area to export and drag the mouse to the upper rigth corner of the area to export, keeping the left mouse butoon pressed. When releasing the left mouse button, lower left and upper right coordinates of the selected area are shown. The coordinates can also be entered manually in the text boxes.
As a last step, the mapping of the attributes to the columns in the output file has to be entered. Each checked attribute is a column in the export file. Unchecked attributes are not exported.
Click Save to start the export. The export file is written to the download folder of the web browser. When the export is completed, navigate to the download folder of the web browser and open the export file:
