Seamless Point Surface

A seamless point surface is a continuous surface of point or raster datasets where the overlap between individual datasets is removed to ensure the best available data at each location. In this tutorial the seamless point surface concept is illustrated with three partly overlapping survey datasets. These surveys are de-conflicted to remove overlap and to create a seamless point surface.

In this tutorial the following steps are illustrated:

  • Import point datasource
  • Import individual surveys
  • Definition of seamless point surface
  • Activation of seamless point surface
  • Visualisation of seamless point surface
  • Export of seamless point surface
