Configure WMS layer

To add a layer to WMS, navigate to the Layers tab and click on Add Layer. The datasets query dialog appears to query for datasets to be published as a WMS layer.  Enter the query and click on Search. The matching datasets are shown in the results list and their footprints are shown on the map. The WMS layer is defined by the query definition. Click Save to store the WMS layer. A new dialog opens to enter the layer configuration. Enter the layer name, title and description and check Active. Save the layer configuration. The layer name, title and description are used in the WMS capabilities document.

Configure WMS style

The datasets query dialog appears. When a type class was selected in the query, a Styles tab appears on top of the query dialog. Click on the Styles tab to open the Styles dialog. Click Add style to add a style to the layerthe layer. Enter style name, title and description, check Activate and select the publication style from Style picklist. Save style configuration. The list with style(s) for WMS layer is shown. the style name, title and description are used in the WMS capabilities document.
