Map Portals

Map Portals in GeolinQ are configured to publish maps and datasets to end-users. When creating a map portal by configuring the name, titel and url the following tabs are available for further configuration:

Maps

 'Add Maps' gives the option to add already available configured maps in datasources. By default maps are available after loggin in to a map portal. When selecting 'Public' maps are also available to users without loggin in.   

'Create Map' offers the option to create new maps. These maps are added to the map portal as well as the datasource used for the created map. More information concerning the configuration of maps is available via: Adding Maps.  

Service url's

In this section the client portal url can be changed and additoinal url's to acces the map portal can be added.  

Style Sheet

Here the colour scheme of the map portal can be edited and a logo and organisation or project name and logo can be added. In addition an attribution name and url can be configured. The attribution is visualized in the right under corner of every map and .pdf export in the client portal. 

Logo's can be imported as a .jpg of .png file. The logo is shown in a 180 pixels by 48 pixels format insteasd of the software product logo. When the import logo file is more detailed then 180 by 48 it will be automatically reduced to fit.

The default configured colour scheme is the standard user interface colour scheme. The thema colours and navigation, tabs and button colours be be configured per portal. 

Properties and default map

A default map can be configured in the properties tab. The default map will be visualized the moment a user login. As no default map is configured the start screen of the client portal shows a list of available maps.

In properties  the map portal name as well as the status (active or not active) of the portal is set.
