Add datasource
The following datasource type can be added:
- Catalog datasource
- Database datasource
- WFS datasource
- GML datasource
- XML datasource
- WSDL datasource
A datasource source has a name, description, coordinate system and datasource type. Depending on the selected datasource type additionala properties have to be enetered;
Catalog datasource
A Catalog datasource has no special properties
Database datasource
For a Database datasource the database vendor, database connect string and database credentials have to be entered
WFS datasource
For a WFS datasource the URL to the WFS has to be entered. If Generate class objects and datasets is checked, GeolinQ generates class objects and datasets for the feature types published by the WFS. If unchecked only the database tables are created based on the feature type definitions published by the WFS. By clicking the Save button the datasource is created.
GML datasource
For a GML datasource the URL to the XSD with the feature definitions and the GML version have to be entered. If Generate class objects and datasets is checked, GeolinQ generates class objects and datasets for the feature types in the XSD. If unchecked only the database tables are created for the feature type definitions in the XSD. By clicking the Save button the datasource is created.
XML datasource
For a XML datasource the URL to the XSD with the class definitions has to be entered. It is allowed to enter more than one XSD if required. Each XSD must be on a new line. If Generate class objects and datasets is checked, GeolinQ generates class objects and datasets for the object types in the XSD. If unchecked only the database tables for the object type definitions in the XSD. By clicking the Save button the datasource is created.
WSDL datasource
For a WSDL datasource the URL to webservice and login/password of the webservice has to be entered. Possible the generate all class objects and datasets or make a slection of needed classobjects en datasets. GeolinQ generates class objects and datasets for the object types based on the underlying XSD.
